Lanzarote’s Marinas are located in Arrecife, Puerto Calero and Playa Blanca.
They all contain a variety of chic shops, classy restaurants and stylish bars.
Arrecife, the most recently-constructed, is alongside the port where you can often see huge cruise liners. Market day is a Thursday there.
Puerto Calero is home to some stunning vessels and also hosts the famous submarine safaris tour. The view to the West as you stand in the marina is phenomenal with the mountain range in the background. This marina is even accessed by water taxi, with services between the harbour in the Old Town of Puerto del Carmen and Puerto Calero running all day. Market days here are Tuesday and Friday.
Playa Blanca’s Marina Rubicon makes for a pleasant walk around the bars and shops with the stunning boats in the background. There’s also an indoor shopping centre, including a bowling alley for fun away from the sun! Market days here are Wednesday and Saturday.
