Checks and systems on properties are in place by Lanza.Rentals, but we recommend reading this security information. The owners or agents that list with us are instructed to make their listings and bookings as clear and secure as possible.

We strongly advise you to speak to the owner or agent first prior to confirming your booking or paying any monies.

Ask the available payment methods. We advise paying using your credit card where possible.

Check out the location of the property (Google Maps), search online for reviews (owners and agents can upload testimonials to Lanza.Rentals), speak to the owner on the phone and use your judgement (does it seem too good to be true?)

Remember, any booking or agreement you enter in is with the owner or agent.

We advise owners and agents to keep their account protected, listings up-to-date and make sure their contact and payment dealings are secure.

Ensure there is a clear contract of rental, or terms and conditions, between yourself and the traveller.
