Who are Lanza.Rentals?
Lanza.Rentals is an online-based company that provides the platform for travellers to connect directly with owner and local agents. Travellers will always get the best deal by finding the individual owners and local agents, there will be no unnecessary fees to pay to large distant companies.
We are a small family team and property owners ourselves. In recent years, we've become all too aware and frustrated by the power of the giant American corporations taking over the traditional owner-traveller booking model. It's made it more expensive for travellers and for us, with the likes of HomeAway charging the owner to list their property, then charging the traveller a commission, and finally charging the owner a service fee to send the owner's own money!
Since 2011 we have been renting properties in Lanzarote, via our original website VillasPlayaBlanca www.villasplayablanca.co.uk That website is completely separate, however we have used our years of experience to develop Lanza.Rentals. As VillasPlayaBlanca, we believe we were the first Lanzarote-only website to introduce online booking and online card payments for renting villas in the resort. In 2018 we aired on the BBC's "Get Away for Winter" with two of our properties featuring on TV. In 2020 we launched Lanza.Rentals.
Who’s responsible for my booking?
Any bookings you make are a contract between you and the owner or agent. Think carefully prior to making a booking with any questions you might have or anything that concerns you. We are not involved in any bookings made, nor are we responsible for pricing or any other details provided by owners or agents. Lanza.Rentals is the platform to hook up travellers and owners or local agents.
What payment method should I use?
Different owners and agents will have different ways for you to make the payment. Speak to the individual owner or agent and ask about payment methods. We always advise to pay by credit card if possible.
What safety precautions can I take?
We would always advise you to have travel insurance for your holiday in general. For your villa booking, look at the location online, pay via card where possible and consider speaking to the owner or agent and you'll get a good idea how well they know the property.

Will my property be exposed to a large number of travellers?
We are investing in advertising online to travellers and developing a large and active presence online. As this website is solely focused on the island of Lanzarote, and not all sorts of resorts from around the world, you can be confident that travellers intending to visit Lanzarote will reach our site.
Can the traveller book directly with me?
Absolutely – we connect you with the traveller to give everyone the best experience and best possible deal on each booking. We’re totally focused on getting you enquiries that lead to bookings. No commission. No fees to travellers. Your guests will be avoiding fees to large and distant companies.
Can I choose my own payment method and terms?
Yes, all the bookings you take are according to your own terms and conditions. Your property. Your terms.

Can I make amendments to my listing/s once it has been published?
Yes, just log in using your user account and you’ll see you can edit.
Can I sync my calendar?
Yes, you can use the well-known iCal system for syncing your calendar to give travellers the most up-to-date information.
