When you visit the island, you must try the fantastic tapas.
There are many restaurants around the main resorts that serve tapas with vast menus, also further out the resorts you’ll find the more traditional Canarian bars that may not even have menus of their tapas offering because it may change depending on what the chef has sourced.
Order several dishes, perhaps some full portions, some half portions. You’ll have a small plate each, whilst the dishes are brought out in the middle of the table.
But, remember, relax! You don’t need it to all come at once or to rush eating. Individual portions may not look much but you can get surprisingly full quickly. It’s not unusual to enjoy the tapas over several hours with a drink or two!
