Spain's borders are now open to travellers, including from the UK, with no quarentine. Summer 2020 has been saved!
Tomorrow, 23rd June, a Ryanair flight from Manchester will land in Lanzarote, the first flight to touch down from the UK since emergency repatriation flights back in March and April.
It's widely expected that the UK's 14-day quarantine policy and Foreign Office "no travel" advice will soon be ditched, particularly for travellers from European countries like Spain, so it is therefore reasonable to expect holidaying in Lanzarote to resume through much of July.
If you're looking for a late deal, there are plenty of enticing flight prices and also lovely rentals available. You may wish to seek reassurances, as many owners have provided more flexible terms over recent weeks.
Keep a close eye on the airline schedules. Tui, today, has announced a consolidation of their service from the 11th July to the end of July, with flights only from Birmingham, Gatwick and Manchester. Jet2 is due to resume a wider service from 15th July. Ryanair and easyJet have varying schedules, which are due to increase in August.
The beauty and beaches of Lanzarote are nearing!
