More great connectivity news for Lanzarote travellers has come from budget airline Wizz Air, who will open their fourth UK base at Cardiff Wales Airport.
Lanzarote to Cardiff with Wizz Air appears to be a winter route and is due to commence in October 2021, bringing much-needed competition to the Welsh capital. Presently, only Tui operate flights from there to Lanzarote.
The rapidly-expanding Hungarian airline have also recently launched flights to the island from Doncaster Sheffield, London Luton and London Gatwick.
Just last month, Jet2 also brought good news for travellers in South Wales and South West England with the announcement of their new Bristol base. Lanzarote will be the destination of the first ever Jet2 flight departing Bristol Airport in April 2021.
