"Roadmap" for travel

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced the steps out of the current national restrictions in England. Here are the key dates for international travel.

12th April

A travel taskforce review is to be published, setting out how international travel can resume

17th May

As part of step 3 of the plan, no earlier than 17th May and at least five weeks after step 2 (which begins no earlier than 12th April), international travel could go ahead.

Put simply, 17th May is the earliest you could travel internationally for leisure. Of course, it depends also on Spain's approach and entry requirements. But it does put travel further up the agenda than some people have suggested. Lanzarote is ON, quite soon!
