When's the next green list review?

It's incredibly frustrating that the UK government continues to hold back more safe travel. We hope the next review brings better news for both travellers desperate to get away and business desperate to operate.

The next traffic light review into the status of countries is due to be on Thursday 15th July. The expectation is for the reviews to take place every three weeks.

The UK government has also expressly confirmed they are working on plans for vaccinated travellers to be able to avoid quarantine.

Remember, it's not illegal to travel to an 'amber' country and the Spanish border is open to British tourists.

For many people the 'amber' quarantine requirements are very prohibitive, but there are some people still willing and eager to travel to Lanzarote. Importantly, the Foreign Office doesn't advise against non-essential travel to the Canaries.

Infection rates are so much lower in Lanzarote right now.

Rate per 100,000 over the last 7 days (as of 26/6/21)

United Kingdom: 114

Lanzarote: 25.6
