For under-18s and those fully-vaccinated returning to the UK, the Day 2 test will get cheaper from 24th October.
Arrivals in England from 24th October will be able to take an antigen (lateral flow) test post-arrival, instead of the slower and more expensive PCR tests.
These lateral flow post-travel tests will be available to buy and enter (the code) in your UK passenger locator forms from 22nd October, for arrivals from 24th October.

Remember, the "Day 2" test can be taken on the day you arrive in England or in any of the two following days.
If your lateral flow test is positive, you may get a free confirmatory NHS PCR test.
The devolved governments of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are expected to follow suit.
