From 04:00 on Tuesday 7th December, all arrivals (aged 12 and above) into the UK will need a negative Covid-19 test no earlier than 48 hours before departure.
The cheap and quick antigen (lateral flow) tests are once again accepted for this. It is not worth paying for a PCR test.
These tests are like the free NHS home test kits but you will need a test with a certificate for travel purposes. Typically in Lanzarote, these tests are now €20-€30 at clinics.
