Casita Carmelo is an exquisite, award-winning 1-bed apartment, recently mentioned in The December 2019 Sunday Times Travel magazine. Beautifully designed and decorated with comfort and just-like-home in mind. It consists of kitchen/sitting/dining room with doors out to a very big, private terrace with sun all day. The sunken bedroom is divine (we are told), with probably the most comfortable bed in the Canaries :) Casita Carmelo is ideal for painters, photographers, frazzled business folk looking to unwind, read a few books and hang loose. Great restaurants and bars just a stroll around the corner, literally.

Casita Carmelo sits peacefully on the fringe of the village with rolling countryside right outside the door. Lovely views to the César-inspired ´proper´swimming pool (shared with Casita Susi). Fabulous views to the west, the evening skies a kaleidoscope of changing colours with a fine glass of Lanzarote wine in your hand or, if you like, a nice cuppa. Just a pleasant stroll away is the prettiest village in the Canaries, a bustling working environment with village square, bars and top-quality restaurants. Plus the town hall, the medical centre, the police station, the church, three supermarkets, a bank, leather goods created on site, gift shops, municipal market, the vets and Saturday market

The best description is cosy, the bedroom is sunken and painted in subtle earth colours with en-suite César Manrique-Style shower room with foot massage built in :) Light and airy with award-winning design with continuing 5 stars by word of mouth and return guests.

The outside emotion is of sunny, private, spacious and relaxing, either sitting overlooking the beautiful pool and gardens, taking some of Lanzarote´s famous rays or sitting in the shade reading or checking your emails with the excellent WiFi signal (you know it makes sense).

In the Casita is a TV monitor for playing dvds, some playing cards and dominos.
